Mrs. Catherine Pawsey is a native of Toledo, Ohio. She attended Gesu Elementary school and St. Ursula High School Academy. She received her first liberal arts bachelor's degree from Bowling Green State University in the area of Interpersonal and Public Communication. Her
Education degree is from the University Of Toledo so she cheers for the Falcons and the Rockets!!
Mrs. Pawsey also attended the Sorbonne, University of Paris, France, as well as the Institute of Touraine, Tours, France. She has traveled to the following countries: Belgium, France, Switzerland, Germany... and Italy just for lunch! After college, Catherine worked in public relations for the Youth Hostels in Washington D.C. for a college co-op.
In Toledo; she was very active in her church and met David Pawsey in Carey, Ohio working a youth retreat in 1995. After marrying David Pawsey from Clyde in 1997, she moved here to our semi-quiet little town. Catherine has been happily employed by Clyde-Green Springs School
District since the fall of 1997.
Mrs. Pawsey has had experience working with students of all grades K-8 and enjoys helping them to reach their potential. She wants them to love learning and feel successful!!! She is very interested in differentiated learning to meet students where they are in various skills, and move them forward at their level. Mrs. Pawsey sings to her students and loves to laugh as she teaches because it is so much fun!
The Pawsey's have three beautiful children, Maggie, Alex and Joseph with whom they love to travel, explore, pray and learn about our world. They are Mrs. Pawsey's best teachers!!!!!!
